Privacy policy

Applies to the Google OAuth applications "Gmail Analytics" and "gws-cli", operated by the site owner.

Who uses these applications

Only their operator. Each application is authorised against the operator's own Google accounts and has no other users. Nobody else's data is requested, received or processed.

What data is accessed

With the read-only Gmail scope (gmail.readonly), the applications read the operator's own messages and their metadata (sender, recipients, subject, date, labels, size, and body text) through the Gmail API. They never send, modify or delete mail.

Where the data goes

Into a database on the operator's personal computer, and into a backup on a storage server inside the operator's home. The data is used to produce personal statistics and reports for the operator. It is not uploaded to any third-party service, not shared, not sold, not used for advertising, and not transferred to anyone. No human other than the operator reads it.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept for as long as the operator finds it useful and is deleted by the operator at will. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google account's third-party access page, after which no new data is read.
